Well, here is the third chapter. I hope you enjoyed the first two! Again to make it easier for me I’m gonna put thoughts into colors because it takes up space saying “she thought and he thought....and it thought...” Well this chapter will reveal some of the mystery behind the missing people. Remember this took place after the Final judgement and after Sakura told her feelings to Julian. I use English names... I can’t think of anything more boring to say.... so here are the color schemes:
Sakura’s thoughts in pink.
Li’s thoughts in green.
Maddison’s thoughts in brown.
Yue’s and Julian’s thoughts are in aqua.
Tori’s thoughts in blue.

~*~*~*~*~ Sakura’s dream ~*~*~*~*~
“Who are you? What do want? Can you help me? Are you lost too?” Sakura standing in the shadows of the woods with a figure in black... standing very still with a sword in a ready positoin. Blazing red hair flowed in the wind like a gentle flame. Big blue-aqua eyes as cold as ice stared into hers in fear... ready to defend herself if the stranger made a move but the face other than the eyes were in shadow.
The lady didn’t look much older than she was but equally as scared. Don’t worry I won’t hurt you I promise,” Sakura said calmingly, she was wearing her school coat for warmth on acount of it was snowing heavily all around them, making it even harder to see the misteriose person in black. Sakura could hear voices. Shouting from all around her getting closer and closer to her... The girl turned her head slightly trying to keep her eyes on Sakura.
“Why are you so scared of me?” Sakura asked.
Hearing this angered the lady and she glared at her with an angry stare that froze her insides. Then the lady spoke in a deap threatening childs voice:
A thousand doors slam
A thousand hearts break
Just how much more can we take?
A thousand surrender.
A thousand children cry
Do us all favors and let us die
A thousand screams heard
A thousand voices lost
Nameless tombstones glazed with frost
A thousand sirens roar
A thousand men escape
Victims cover their mouths like tape
A thousand souls shiver
A thousand lose hope
We’ll just close our eyes and cope
A thousand bitter voices
A thousand left for dead
and the survivors have the same fate ahead.
Sakura gasped at what the girl had said. The lady only frowned grimly. The voices around the lady got louder almost like mocking! Her sleek black sword kept its position: pointing at Sakura’s heart.
Sakura could sense something from her a sort of power, but not magic. How can I sense something from someone with no magical power. The lady had something strange about her, Sakura felt like she knew the mysterous lady. Shadows around them crept in, swalloing the scene before her. Then there was a distant light Like at the end of the tunnel, which kept getting closer and closer until...
~*~*~*~ THE CAMPSITE ~*~*~*~
“Sakura! Sakura wake up!” Li whispered. Sakura fought the thought of awakening for a moment.
Wait. Where am I? These woods... this cliff... why... where am I? Was it a dream or was it something ...else.
Then gave up. Her emerald eyes fluttered open, taking in all the sights and sounds. Li was right beside her propped up on his elbows looking at her with a blush of slight cocern.
Wait, I remember. The amusment park, the glass, those men, those poor parents and children. Sakura began to cry, faced with all the nasty images from the day before.
I don’t want it to be real. It’s just a dream... just a dream... No matter how hard I make it seem like it never happened I can’t convince myself that it didn’t. Why are they looking for us? Is it our fault? I wish it never happened I wish I could have saved them!! I could have... *sob* saved them. Sakura began to cry. Li sensed what she was thinking and took her hand. “Its okay. It’s not your fault, Sakura. Sometimes the choice you have to make isn’t always the choice want to make. Do you understand?” Li comforted. Sakura looked up at him, her emerald eyes sparkled with tears. She nodded.
“Are you okay?” Li asked again.
Sakura only nodded. Sakura felt courage run through her veins. Li is always there when I need the courage to carry on, I only wish I could give him back some of the courage he gave to me. Sakura looked around and was amazed by the change in scenery. The sun was just rising above the horizon, and pink, blue and orange splashed the sky. Small clouds could be seen through the trees which weren’t and ugly gray but lively colors of green, red, brown and orange. Sakura’s eyes went wide with the tranformation. She felt much safer than last night. Remembering yesterday made her stomach churn. She sat in the sleeping bag with Li watching the sun come up for about an hour, until Li got up and limped towards the firepit.
“Where are you going, Li?” Sakura whispered loudly.
“I’m going to start a fire. It’s getting colder and colder every morning, remember how everyone was last night, Sakura?”
Sakura remembered. Everyone was laughing and having fun, Madison made some jokes and Zachery told his story about how camping was invented and Nikki told that scary story about *gulp* Seeyariiya.
“That’s because one person left the past behind them for 1 minute and influenced everyone else to do the same. That is what is going to happen this morning. There will be no talking about what happened. Not a word... it is best for everyone. But that doesn’t change the fact that it happened,” Li explained in a leader like voice.
“Okay, Li,” Sakura whispered. She could see her breath make a little cloud in the air as she wriggled out of the sleeping bag. Li took out his sword, said the incantation and lit a fire. Sakura turned away from him and walked to the edge of the cliff. The sun was just coming up over the horizon allowing Sakura to see the town in better light. The town looked motionless... not a person could be seen... not even the `men’ in black uniforms... nobody. It looks like a ghost town down there, but how can that be? Sakura just didn’t understand.
“Li, come look at this,” Sakura said not turning her head in case she missed something.
Li limped painfully beside her, tracing her eyeline to the town.
“What is it Sakura?” he asked.
“Don’t you think it’s a bit peculiar that absolutely no one is on the streets?” Sakua replied in a suspicious tone.
“Hmmm, it deos seem odd.”
They both watched the town like hawks for what seemed like a half an hour until Li left to go make breakfast. Sakura turned to follow when she heard a noise so monstrouse it could have deafened her. She spun on her heels and Li sped to her side, they greated the scene with a shocked expression. A massive cloud of black smoke and fire moved towards the sky. Fire spouted out of the windows of the old building. The old abandoned building was in half an minute engulfed in flames.
Sakura was shocked. Li looked taken back. “Oh my god, Li,” Sakura said grabbing onto his arm. Li slowly turned his attention to Sakura. She was crying again; her emerald eyes once again engulfed by tears of fear and sadness.
“It’s okay, Sakura. I’m sure we will be,” Li said calmly.
“It’s not us I’m worried about. I know we will be fine, but what about all the others,” Sakura cried even harder. Li took her in his arms and gave her a light hug. He put his hand on her back and guided her to sit in front of the fire. A few minutes later the smoke and fire withered until black smoke was the only thing seen spilling out the window. A few tinier explosions were heard then nothing. The clouds of smoke turned the once beautiful rainbow-like sky into a swirling black cloud.
I think those evil men did that... they can make the most beautiful things ugly. What is this feeling? It feels like my stomach is on fire and I just want to scream!!! Wait... Is this what HATE feels like? It must be... I hate those men... Ya, it is hate. I’ve never hated anybody before... Sakura thought as she sat staring into the fire. Li went digging into the bag of food and pulled out a package of bacon from a little cooler part of the bag. He went to another part of the bag and pulled out a tiny pan only big enough for about 3 strips of bacon to cook at the same time. They had a tiny pot, pan, a few little plastic cups, 3 metal plates a sharp pocket knife and large metal ladel. Li took the pan and the package of bacon over to the fire. He placed himself beside Sakura and started to cook breakfast. There was a long awkward silence. Sakura was to busy thinking to say anything yet, she had a mystery on her hands.
My dream... who is that lady? Was she right....do we have the same fate as those who died, because the men were looking for us? The lady... I feel like I know her, but why? I don’t know anyone who can stare like that. When she stared at me it was like being in a freezer. Her eyes said something to me like a hidden message but I couldn’t figure it out. And the sword was very odd... the blade was black... but it pulsed with power... but not magical power... something else.... her power over me it was overwhelming, I felt defenseless. She looked about my age, too. I can’t get my mind of her eyes... ice... cold as ice. But her expression it almost said “help me escape.” I’m so confused this person is so odd. I can barely think of her without my brain asking to many questions and bringing up all these descriptions that I can’t undersatnd. Ow my head... migraine!! Sakura groaned and clutched her head. Li looked at her from his concentration on the pan of bacon that slowly cooked.
“You okay?” he asked. “Mmmm hmm,” Sakura nodded still clutching her head.
I hope Sakura’s gonna be okay. She seems to be having a brain battle. Well, she was talking in her sleep all night. I tried to wake her but she wouldn’t wake at one point she was really scared of something. She grabbed on to my arm and wouldn’t let go. She was scared and I didn’t know what to do, that the first time I’ve been faced with a situation that I didn’t know what to do. I woke up this morning and she was practically clinging to me. It was awkward. She was hugging me in her sleep. Then I woke her up. Should I ask her abou it her dream or should I just drop the subject. I really want to help, and then there’s the question of when I should tell her... If I tell her now it might make it worse but seeing her like this... It’s killing me. Maybe I should get it off my mind for a while... maybe take a walk and clear my head for now. He stole a glance at Sakura who stared deeply into the fire.
If those men hadn’t shown up then Sakura would have been fine and I could have told her that I... Li finished cooking the bacon and set it all on a metal camping plate then put another plate (upside down) on top of it acting like a container to keep it warm. He stood up and said:
“Breakfast is on the plate when you get hungry and the others should be up soon.” He said not even looking back and without waiting for a reply he limped into the forest. Sakura waited to ask where he was going but her mind froze, her head was flooded with questions that she couldn’t answer and all these feelings that she couldn’t identify and she just wanted to sleep. But her brain wouldn’t even let her do that. Her brain was making her feel sick. She could almost hear the lady talk to her.
“A thousand bitter voices
A thousand left for dead
and the survivors have the same fate ahead.”
The girls voice echoed in her head over and over and over mocking her.
Sakura felt like she was going to be sick. She walked over to the sleeping bag and stopped dead in her tracks.
The tree... no, it couldn’t be, is it... How could it be when I saw it it was black and ugly and *gulp* scary. Sakura stared up at the tree that had given her so much fear in awe. It was a cherry tree. Its fragrent blossoms smelt lik perfume in the air and the light shades of pink filled Sakura’s eyes with hope. A gental breeze blew the beautiful tree, blowing little pink and white petals flew all around her. Sakura felt almost instantly refrshed. Her mind was wrapped around how beautiful and unique the tree was. All Sakura could see was maple, aspen and oak trees but the cherry-tree was a sight for sore hope deprived eyes. ~*~*~*~ LI’S POV ~*~*~*~
Maybe I shouldn’t have left Sakura back there. Oh well, she’ll be okay. She’s got Madison and the others. Li thought as he limped through the forest. Leaves and twigs snapped under his feet as he gaze at the light coming from the canopy over head. The sun was now all the way up and the scenery was refreshing. (Seeing is that Li’s favorite color is green) He was enjoying the scenery, glad to be away from the sight of Reedington under siege. The explosion this morning really made him realize that they are alone out here and they have to depend on themselves.
I wonder how long we’ll be out here for? Could be days... weeks... months until we go home. I wonder what Sakura dreamed about? It had to be pretty scary. Nah, it probably was just a nightmare about the story Nikki told about the lady who fell in love with an enemy soldeir and was hanged in the forest for treason. Wow, it’s really nice out here. It’s been a while since I took time out just for myself. Aaaaaaah, it’s pretty relaxing out here to. Nothing to bother me, nothing that can make me feel insignifigant......
Li trudged out deeper and deeper into the forest, not caring that about the posibility of getting lost.
I can’t get lost out here I have the lasin board. Plus I know that I am heading west away from Reedington and all I have to do to get back is go east.
“Aaaaah... I wonder why I’ve never thought about coming here before,” Li thought out loud. Looking up at the giant green canopy that almost swallowed the sky. A gaint oak tree that had fallen what seemed ages ago felt like a good rest point for Li. He (painfully) swung one leg over the giant tree and pulled himself up. He sat on the tree for a while, the moss tickled his legs but was comfortable. The bandages on his face started to bug them so he carefully took them off and rubbed his head.
The rays of sun shinig through the canopy lit up his face and he found that this was the perfect spot to just go and get away. He felt a tiny tickling feeling on his leg. He looked and there was a small mosquito biting his leg. Instinctively he slapped at the mosquito, killing it on contact and lay back down. He lay there for a while just listening to all the forest sounds, a bird chirped, some kind of frog croaked. Everything seemed so peacful. I prbably shouldn’t have just left Sakura back there. I wonder what is wrong with her. I mean I know what happened yesterday was terrifying and all but she seemed to be scared of something else all together. Something pink caught Li’s eye. A petel floated on a light breeze right into Li’s palm.
Li looked at the tiny petal and smiled. He closed his eyes and thought. A cherry blossom? But I didn’t see any anywhere. How did the get here when the only trees are like maple and aspen... strange. Li’s eyes snapped open. He just sense something from nearby. The hair on the back of his neck rose.
That was an odd feeling... It wasn’t like anything I’ve ever felt before. It wasn’t... like power... it was an aura!!! This aura... seems to be... white... white means... truth and... purity... I think. Wei told me about reading aura’s... yes, yes, now I remember... but where is it coming from.
Li looked around slowly, his face locked in one of his famous scowls. The feeling revealed it self again pulsing from behind him. He jumped off the tree and walked all around it... Nothing.
What is going on here. One second it’s in front of me then behind me and now it’s vanished. What’s the deal!!
Li looked all around. Something pink caught his eye. It disappeared behind a tree. Li took out his sword and slowly made his way towards it. He finally got to the tree and peered behind it. Nothing.
“This is weird,” Li half-whispered. The feeling represented itself again
from behind him and quickly disappeared before he turned around. Then the
creepiest thing happened, a voice echoed through the trees. It was a lady’s
voice that had a little ring to it... like bells. The voice sung in a voice
that was heard from all direction around Li.
Listen to your heart,
when she’s calling for you.
Listen to your heart,
there’s nothing else you can do.
I don’t know where your giong and I don’t know why but,
Listen to your heart.
Before you tell her goodbye.
“The voice ended and disappeared just as soon as it appeared. Li looked around frantically, the words the voice had sung rang through his head over and over again. Li was shocked. The vioce... was almost a power all together. The words of the song paralyzed him almost completely. The words sounded familiar. The words almost described what Li felt for Sakura.
“Who is there!!” he yelled. Li looked around frantically, his sword drawn. He was on guard and mesmerized at the same time.
Who was that? No, WHAT was that...? What deos it want? Hmmmm, maybe I should go back now. It’s creepy out here. Li thought for a moment and decided it was to creepy to stay much longer. He put his sword back in his sheath and limped slowly back in the direction he had come.
~*~*~*~ SAKURA’S POV ~*~*~*~
This is so beutiful...
Sakura thought as she climbed the tree’s extra thick trunk. She climbed among the twirled branches of the tree with monkey like precision. She sat silhouetted amongst the thousands of cherry-blossoms that blocked the view of the evil in Reedington a few miles away. I can’t beleive I haven’t noticed this before. How could something so beautiful pass by with out being noticed....huh? Sakura looked around... confused. Had someone just called her name. She climbed higher.
“Hello?” she half whispered. She felt something from behind her. What was that? I turned around; nothing was there. It is a strange feeling... an aura? Could it have been an aura?! If it is it’s the same sense I got in my dream... so if it is an aura it should show what the person or things emotions are. Sakura closed her eyes and tried to sense what color the aura was. I have a strong feeling that it is violet... but what does violet mean? I don’t know how to read aura’s but right now it doesn’t matter... something is out here and its not us...... Can ghost have auras...... Oh no... I hope not.
Li finally came into view of the campsite, when he heard Sakura say “hello.” He walked towards her voice a little more and saw where the little cherry blossom petal had come from. The giant cherry tree loomed overhead, its delicate petals looked as light as air. He walked underneath the tree and saw Sakura sitting on one of the branches with a scared expression on her face. Her light auburn hair blew slightly every time the wind blew and she looked beautiful silhoutted against the light pink cherry blossoms. Li stared up at her with concern.
“Sakura are you okay?” he asked just loud enough for her to here. Her emerald eyes snapped open in fear.
“L-L-Li is that you?” she stammered in startled confusion.
She looks really scared. I knew I shouldn’t have left her here.
“Ya, it’s me. Tell me what’s wrong?” Li replied to her question with another. She looked relieved.
“There was this... thing I don’t know how to explain. I was hoping you would know,” Sakura explained as she climbed down from the tree. She dropped down from the tree and turned to face Li. Li looked concerned but also had another thought in mind.
I wonder if it’s the same thing I encountered. What was it anyway? Was it human? ~*~*~*~ MOON MANSION ~*~*~*~
“Master what was that?”
“... I’m not sure. I never counted on this, they are not in the plan.”
“Are they slowing down your progress? Ruby and I can put a spell on them.”
“That won’t be necessary, Spinner. I’ve been thinking... whatever they are... they could be very useful to me... hehehe.”
~*~*~*~ CAMPSITE ~*~*~*~
In front of the fire:
“So what I felt was an aura? And that’s how you tell?” Sakura asked a little more understanding about the past events.
“Yes, my sister taught me how to read aura’s and then Wei showed me how to use them at my advantage,” Li explained, looking Sakura in the face with concerned seriousness. “So the aura you felt... what color did you feel was strongest coming from it.”
“Hmmmmm, I think it was violet but what does that mean do auras have colors?”
“Yes, there’s a color for each aura. Violet means: one who is seeking something, signifies physic or clairvoyance, they might be misunderstood or obstacles they have to overcome,” Li finished.
“Wow... so I can read anyone’s aura.”
“Yes, you know Sakura... I thought I felt an aura in the forest when I took a walk. But it was different than the aura you felt; it felt most like white,” Li explained in a small voice not wanting to scare Sakura, but surprisingly she didn’t look disturbed at all. She looked like a student urging for knowledge.
“Really... what does white mean?” she asked.
“It means purity and truth,” Li said looking down at the ground.
~*~*~*~FLASHBACK~*~*~*~
“Listen to your heart,
when she’s calling for you.
Listen to your heart,
theres nothing else you can do.
I don’t know where your going and I don’t know why but,
Listen to your heart.
Before you tell her goodbye.”
~*~*~*~END OF FLASHBACK~*~*~*~
The words echoed in Li’s head over and over again as he stared at the ground. Sakura’s voice broke through his thoughts.
“Then what’s green?” She asked.
“Well, green is sort of rare... It means sympathy, empathy, affinity with nature, natural healer, calm, and l-love,” Li finished. Whenever Li talked to her about anthing he stuttered, especially love.
“Really... because your aura seems to be green, Li,” Sakura seemed much more relaxed since Li had come back. Li blushed like mad. He looked up at Sakura with a blush delicately spread across his face.
“You look like you have a fever, well since your a natural healer you can help me take care of you,” Sakura smiled brightly. Li couldn’t help the blush that spread delicately across his face, he smiled a rare smile at Sakura. She turned when she heard a rustling noise. Sakura instinctively grabbed on to Li’s arm and gasped.
“What if it’s the thing we sensed... what if it’s a... ghost...?” Sakura whispered. Li rolled his eyes slightly.
“Sakura there is no such thing as ghosts,” he said. The noise rustled again. Both heads traced the noise over to the tent. The large blue tent with big yellow stars on it wriggled for a moment then the zipper made its way down its path and the flap fell open. A tired girl with long dark gray hair popped her head out and stared at the sight of Sakura holding on to Li’s arm. She smiled at them as Sakura left Li and ran to Madison catching her in a bear hug.
“Good morning, Sakura,” Maddison said cheerfully.
“Good morning to you, Madison! I thought you were a ghost.”
“There’s no such things as ghosts, Sakura,” Li said from behind them.
“Come on, let’s get some breakfast, Madison, hahaha,”Sakura giggled. They walked hand-in-hand over to to the fire and sat down on a log that Li had made the fire in front of. Li took the plate and heated it up over the fire then carefully handed it to Madison.
“So when did you get up, Li?”
Li looked up at her for a moment and thought. When I woke up... When I woke up Sakura was practically clinging to him in her sleep...
“Li?” Maddison asked again.
“Oh ugh, I got up about 2 hours ago,” Li answered.
“And when did you get up, Sakura?” She asked.
“I got up about the same time as Li,” She replied. Madison looked at Li then Sakura. Li looks embarrassed and Sakura looks fine. But I can tell they both have something else on their mind. Sakura closed her eyes and thought for a moment.
“Li, what’s orange?” Sakura asked.
Madison was confused at what she heard.
“Um, Sakura... orange is a color.”
“It means warmth, thoughtfulness, a very emotional person and creativity,” Li blushed. Maddison looked confused.
“Your aura matches you completely, Madison, haha,” Sakura giggled. Oh, she meant aura’s the art of reading peoples emotions... Li must have taught her... maybe Sakura will finally clue in on Li’s feelings for her.
Madison smiled.
“What is my aura, Li? I don’t think I can read my own,” Sakura asked.
“Ugh...” Li said taking his attention of the fire for once. “Pardon me?” Li asked.
“Can you read my aura, please?”
“Oh... ugh, okay...” Li said and closed his eyes... he felt the aura and his senses pointed to a color.
“It... it is... pink,” Li stammered. He knew what pink meant.
“Wow pink is my favorite color!” Sakura exclaimed.
“What does pink mean?” Maddison asked seeing Li’s embarassed face.
“Ugh... I-it... means...”
“What... what does it mean, Li?” Sakura repeated.
“I-i-it means a love of beauty... Love and deep friendship...” Li trailed off not making eye contact with her while he talked. Maddison giggled at the sight Li made.
“What’s wrong, Madison? Pink isn’t that funny.. does it suit me?”
“Of course, it does,” Madison finished. ”What is Li’s aura, Sakura?”
Li almost gasped at the question.
“It means sympathy, empathy, affinity with nature, natural healer, calm, and love,” Sakura finished proud of herself for remembering.
“Wow, that’s really cool. When the others wake up tell me thier auras, okay, Sakura?” Madison asked.
“Absolutely, Madison,” Sakura said cheerily as they went on chatting, trying to forget the gruesome images from a day ago. But Li just sat, once again immersed in thought.
It’s strange... both our aura’s just happened to have the meaning love in them... could Sakura feel the same way... or maybe she just loves someone else. And the aura in the woods... white... truth and purity... the words it sung almost describes my feelings fully... since the aura pointed to a truthful color the words must be true... but what do I mean by true? Here I am getting all confused again. I just hope whatever is out there is friendly.
~*~*~*~ AN HOUR LATER ~*~*~*~
The tent flap falls open a few more times revealing the tired Zachery, Chelsea, Rita and Nikki. They all sat around the fire eating breakfast talking sleepily about how good they slept. Everyone knew that they shouldn’t speak a word about what happened and that they should move on, Li had made it perfectally clear.
“So how long have you guys been up?” Nikki asked Sakura.
“Hmmmmmmm, about 3 hours if I’m correct,” Sakura answered. Glancing at Li and Maddison. They all sat around the fire and chatted for the longest time then for some odd reason it fell into an awkward silence. No one knew what to say next, they were out of topics. Then Sakura spoke up.
“Hey, did you guys see the cherry blossom tree?” Sakura asked trying to break the silence.
“I saw it when I woke up. I can’t beleive we didn’t notice it when we came through last night,” Rita commented.
“Yes, such and odd thing as to how a cherry tree was up here and we didn’t see it,” Zachery said.
“Well, cherry blossoms only blossom in the day, at night it’s too cold for them to open up or they would freeze... adding to the mystery it is October and it should be full of leaves and cherries but this tree looks like it just blossomed today,” Maddison shared her knowledge of blossoms to everyone. “Now that I think about it, Madison. You’re right, the cherries would have dropped and the leaves would have fallen to the ground by now,” Sakura chimed adding to the awe and admiration of the tree. Everyone stared at the tree talking about how special the cherry blossom tree was. But Li stared at a different cherry blossom. Madison noticed and turned to whisper in Li’s ear. Li sat on the right side of Madison and Sakura on the left. The cliff was behind them so everyone had there backs turned.
“Li, you know shes gonna find out now that she can read aura’s. I think you should tell her sometime soon,” Maddison whispered. Li’s attention was snapped off of the lively Sakura and concentrated on what Madison had said. He turned his head again to the fire and whispered:
“That’s what you said last time.”
“I didn’t know that was going to happen, Li, and now that she can read aura’s she will find out. I think you should be the one who tells her,” Madison whispered back.
Li thought about it for a minute, and almost considered it. But Li had a bad habit of keeping his feelings from other people.
“I’ll think about it, Madison,” he whispered back. In response, he got Madisons disappointed face. She turned around and stared at the cherry blossoms like everyone else.
Dammit she’s right. Sakura will find out. If you keep a fealing in long enough it get stronger and stronger and soon she’ll sense it whenever I come near. I’ll have to tell her soon.. it’s just catching her when she’s not surounded by other people...
“Li, are you coming?” Nikki asked. Breaking into Li’s thoughts.
“Oh ugh... where?” he asked.
“We’re gonna take a little hike and get to know the forest a little better. Didn’t you hear us talking about it, Li?” Chelsea asked.
“Oh, I don’t know. I took a walk this morning; I think I’ll stay here,” he rejected.
“Come on, Li, please come. Please please please,” Sakura’s sing-song vioce rang out.
“Ya, Li, come on!” Rita half yelled.
“O-o-okay, I geuss I’ll go,” Li gave in and stood a little painfully and walked along with the others into the woods. Li didn’t want to go. He wanted more time to himself... to think, but Sakura wanted him to go, then so be it. They trudged through the forest, leaves and twigs crunching under their feet. Li just looked at the ground, nothing else.
No one here has a white aura... someone else must be out there and it must be human because I heard its voice... And Sakura felt it too... but violet... someone who seeks something, clairvoyance... and psychic... misunderstood and has obstacles to overcome... hmmm. No one here has violet aura’s, either. It’s mostly all yellow which means personality, shyness, thoughtful and a very emotional person. But violet... there must be more than one person out there with us. Little did Li know was that he was being watched by a tall dark lady in black robes.
“It seems that we’ve been found out. Hm hm hm, I saw it coming.”
~*~*~ 20 MINUTES LATER ~*~*~
“Li, are you okay?” Sakura asked. She watched Li from over her shoulder. He was looking at the ground lost in thought.
“What, oh ya... I’m fine,” Li said looking up at her face... then quickly looked back down. Sakura looked kinda hurt. She turned back around and she to stared at the ground.
I’m fine, I’m fine is that all he can say! I know he is not fine... something is wrong. I can feel it in his aura... the green is turning darker... Darker greens mean problems or uncertainties. They are messing around with his feelings and making her aura turn dark. He needs someone to talk to...... Hmmmm, I’ll talk to him tonight when everyone is asleep. Sakura decided and continued her walk through the forest looking at the brightly colored trees with her head held high.
~*~*~*~ THAT NIGHT ~*~*~
Sakura, Zachery, Rita, Madison, Chelsea and Nikki had all retired to the tent as they returned from a long exhausting hike. Li again slept under the cherry tree just as the night before. It was chilly outside but Li pulled the sleeping bag up. He watched his breath in little clouds of fog and tried to sleep.
Why didn’t I tell Sakura this morning... while no one was awake!!! I’m such a dip!!! I love her to much to hurt her feelings... but if I tell her that I love her it might hurt her feelings... so...
Sakura shivered. Either know she was in a tent with 6 people and a sleeping bag she felt cold.
She made sure everyone was asleep then carefully wriggled out of her sleeping bag and crept outside. It took a few minutes for Sakura’s eyes to adjust to the dark but when they did she could see Li’s form wrapped in his sleeping bag. Carefully she tip-toed over and put a hand on his shoulder. His head turned slowly to see who it was.
“Sakura?” he asked his voice just over a whisper. He instantly sat up. “Ya, I wanted to talk to you about something,” Sakura asked crouching down so she was eye level with Li.
“Ugh... okay” Li said.
“Well... Today you looked like you had a lot on your mind and your aura seemed to tell me somethings wrong. Is there... and please don’t say it’s nothing I’m fine. Because it really hurts me that you say that and you don’t mean it it makes me feel like I’ve been lied to...” Sakura said almost ready to cry.
Li was awe struck. He had hurt Sakura... He felt so guilty and disgusted with himself.
“I... I.. I don’t know...” Li said honestly. He really didn’t know what was wrong with him, so may feelings at once and now Sakura asks him to tell her how he feels... it was to much.
“Li...” Sakura said as she began to cry. Li felt so angry with himself. He couldn’t stand the sight of Sakura crying. It ripped up his insides. He quickly took her in his arms and hugged her really tight. He couldn’t stand it and Sakura couldn’t stand it.
“I’m sorry, Sakura,” Li whispered as he sat back down pulling Sakura with him. Sakura kept crying. Li couldn’t take it any more, his eyes became watery and a solem tear ran down his face and landed on Sakura’s cheek. She imeidiatly looked up at him. His face looked very painful and sad. Sakura could only stare.
Li... h-he’s crying... did I make him cry...? What is this feeling? It feels like my heart has been ripped in two... Oh, I made him cry......... I feel sad and a different feeling I can’t identify at the same time....
Sakura continued to stare at Li’s face. Li stared for a moment then looked away. He couldn’t stand to see her cry and to tell the truth he didn’t want her to see him cry either.
Sakura sensed his pain and again buried her face on his shoulder. Li was surprised but nonetheless returned the hug. He hugged her tightly and rested his chin on Sakura’s shoulder. Sakura felt safe in his strong arms.
“Please d-d-d-don’t be *sob* sad anymore Li...” Sakura cried, her voice muffled.
“Sakura... I...” Li stuttered.
“Sakura brought her head up a little so that her head was still resting on
his chest but she could face him... she still cried a little. He hugged
tighter..the pain in his heart almost killed him.
“I... I...” he treid again.
I can sense Li’s aura... it points to... three colors!!! Is that
possible...? His auras are... white, blue and black!! But this can’t be
right all three. Let’s see... white means truth. Blue means quiet and sad, and
black means... someone who’s hiding something... he hiding the truth about a
feeling!! He’s hiding that he’s sad? No... it’s that weird feeling, he’s sad
because of that weird feeling...... the one I couldn’t
identify... the one I got when I held Li’s hand when he was hurt... and when
he cried... wait my aura was pink!! Pink means... deep
friendship... beauty and......... LOVE!!!
That feeling... it must be it that feeling must be love!!!! I must
love... him... maybe that what’s bothering him. If it will take Li’s pain away
I’ll tell him how I feel right now!!
Sakura’s eyes widened as the truth fell upon her like a rock. She loves
Li... Why did it take her so long to figure out... Now that she knew she
wanted to tell him. Love meant always being true and that’s what Sakura
intended to keep.
“Li?” Sakura asked a new strength in her vioce.
“Y-yes S-S-Sakura,” Li stammered. The pain still made it hard to talk.
She felt a little embarrased but she hugged him harder and buried her face
in his chest again... then came the muffled words:
“Li... I love you...” Sakura whispered under her breath. Li’s eyes flew open
and widened at the words. He had waited to hear that for so long... Li didn’t
know what to do... He was frozen. Sakura cried a little more for what seemed
like eternity, until Li snapped back to reality.
“M-m-me t-too, Sakura,” he whispered and hugged her tighter. He smiled,
felt like he could jump up and cheer, but he never did. Instead he and Sakura
fell asleep still in a tight embrace until a girl with long velvet hair lay
them down and covered them up. Her eyes—amethyst eyes—twinkled with the
light from the moon and stars as she whispered to herself:
“Finally”
Awwwwwwwwwe, I thought that was so adorable!! I had to use my
imagination and think of how Sakura was gonna find out so I thought of
aura’s. I did alittle research and this is the discriptions I got for each
aura color:
Red -
Strength, anger, tenacity, passion, vitality, raw energy & willpower. Dark
red may symbolize one who has a quick temper and is nervous or impulsive.
All red relates to nervous tendencies.
Orange -
Warmth, thoughtfulness, a very emotional person & creativity. The muddier
shades may indicate pride or vanity, while golden orange denotes
self-control. ( Maddison)
Yellow -
Mental activity, wisdom, personality power, happiness, good cheer, optimism.
A golden yellow means that the person takes care of him/herself or a highly
advanced individual with psychic abilities - an adept. Darker yellows may
represent shyness. (Nikki,Rita,Chelsea and Zach. exept for the psychic part
lol)
Green -
Sympathy, empathy, spirituality, love, affinity with nature, a natural
healer, and calm. May signify that the person is a healer or very good at
the healing arts and is very reliable. Dark shades of green can indicate one
who is jealous or has many uncertainties. (Li Showron)
Blue -
Quiet, highly spiritual, religious, natural teacher, healer and calm. Any
shade of blue in the aura is good to have. Deep blue in an aura shows one
who has found his/her work and or destiny in life. Blue may
also represent a tendency to be moody and depressed.
Violet -
One who is seeking something in life. Signifies psychic, clairvoyance,
teacher and healer. Dark shades may indicate that the person has obstacles
to overcome and is feeling misunderstood.
Black -
Protection. May reflect a person who’s hiding something. It may indicate
mental imbalances as well.
Brown -
This could reflect a person who is very “earthy” or that a person is
establishing new roots, or even one who is very centered with themselves and
their surroundings.
Pink -
Love and deep friendship. It represents compassion, and possibly a love of
beauty. Darker or muddier shades of pink may point to immaturity. ( sounds a
little like Sakura clueless!!)
White -
Usually this is one of the first colors you will see in an aura. However,
when it is the stronger color of the aura, it reflects purity and truth.
To be continued...
